The Roscommon County Board of Commissioner’s met on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 for a special meeting.  Chairman Mead called the meeting to order at 9:00 A.M.

Roll Call:  Nellist, Mead, Schneider, Milburn.

Absent:  Souder.

The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Also Present:  Jeff Patrus, Roscommon County Herald News;  Carol Quirk, Juvenile Detention Center;  Carrie Perialas, E-911;  Glenn Schicker, Houghton Lake Resorter;

Pat Springstead;  Rick Meeks;

Review of Contract - #12 revision added

Roscommon County Emergency Dispatch Director – Employment Agreement

Discussion Emergency Management Director and salary.

            1.         Moved by Milburn, seconded by Nellist to hire Patricia Wiley as the

                        Roscommon County 911 Director effective September 22, 2008 with

                        an annual salary of  $45,000.00 and benefit package available to all

                        non-union County Employees.  On roll call:  Ayes:  Schneider, Mead,

                        Nellist, Milburn.  Nays:  None.  Motion carried.

            2.         Moved by Schneider, seconded by Nellist to authorize Chairman, Larry

                        D. Mead to sign the attached Employment Agreement between Patricia

                        Wiley and the County of Roscommon after her signature is obtained.

                        On roll call:  Ayes:  Milburn, Mead, Nellist, Schneider.  Nays:  None.

                        Motion carried.

            3.         Moved by Milburn, seconded by Nellist to adjourn meeting.  On roll call:

                        Ayes:  Schneider, Milburn, Mead, Nellist.  Nays:  None.  Motion carried.
