The Roscommon County Board of Commissioner’s met on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 for a Special Meeting. Chairman Nellist called the meeting to order at 9:00 A.M.

Roll Call: Nellist, Melvin, Milburn, Stephan.

Absent: Schneider.

The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Also Present: Kim Akin, Road Commission; Jeff Patrus, Herald News; Clint

Stouffer, Road Commission; Lois Byrd, Economic Development; Glenn Schicker,

H.L. Resorter; Gerald Larson; Leonard Anderson;

1. Moved by Milburn, seconded by Stephan to approve the agenda

as presented and amend motion on insurance for Mead and

Pappas. On roll call: Ayes: Nellist, Melvin, Milburn, Stephan.

Nays: None. Motion carried.

2. Moved by Milburn, seconded by Stephan to provide a single

supplemental medical insurance policy to Mr. Pappas and Mr.

Mead through the Roscommon County Road Commission.

This benefit does not include their spouses. On roll call: Ayes:

Milburn, Stephan. Nays: Nellist, Melvin. Motion failed.

Public Comment

Kim Akin spoke to Board regarding law suit for the supplemental insurance.

Both Road Commission and County would be involved.

3. Moved by Milburn, seconded by Stephan to adjourn meeting.

Ayes: Nellist, Milburn, Melvin, Stephan. Nays: None.

Motion carried.

Meeting adjourned at 9:30 A.M.
