The Roscommon County Board of Commissioner’s met on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 for a regular meeting. Chairman Nellist called the meeting to order at 10:15 A.M.

The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Roll call: Nellist, Melvin, Schneider, Milburn, Stephan.

1. Moved by Stephan, seconded by Melvin to approve the agenda as

presented. On roll call: Ayes: Schneider, Milburn, Melvin, Nellist,

Stephan. Nays: None. Motion carried.

2. Moved by Melvin, seconded by Schneider to approve Board of

Commissioner’s Meeting Minutes of June 10 and 24, 2009. On

roll call: Ayes: Stephan, Milburn, Schneider, Melvin, Nellist.

Nays: None. Motion carried.

Public Comment – None.

3. Moved by Stephan, seconded by Milburn to approve Class A bills.

On roll call: Ayes: Nellist, Melvin, Schneider, Milburn, Stephan.

Nays: None. Motion carried.

4. Moved by Stephan, seconded by Melvin to approve Claims and

Accounts. On roll call: Ayes: Schneider, Milburn, Stephan, Nellist,

Melvin. Nays: None. Motion carried.

Controller’s Report - Cheryl talked about Rap Grant, Personnel Policy, Emergency

Services report, Housing Foreclosures, 2010 Budget a month early; MI Works, and

County Building Roof finished.

5. Moved by Stephan, seconded by Milburn to approve the Roscommon

County Commission on Aging Community Plan for 2009, as presented.

Plan available in Clerk’s Office. On roll call: Ayes: Schneider, Melvin,

Milburn, Stephan, Nellist. Nays: None. Motion carried.

6. Moved by Melvin, seconded by Nellist to approve purchases from

Commissary 595 fund a 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan in the amount of

$20,277.00. This vehicle will be used to transport prisoners. On roll call:

Ayes: Stephan, Milburn, Schneider, Nellist, Melvin. Nays: None.

Motion carried.
